Het verbazingwekkende avontuur van de Barsac-Missie
The novel L’Etonnante aventure de la Mission Barsac (written by Jules Verne’s son Michel and based on an unfinished manuscript) was published in 1919 by Librairie Hachette. A Dutch translation was published by Ridderhof, in two parts: Een missie naar de Niger and Een stad in de Sahara. These books were not illustrated.
Our member Wouter Roosenschoon edited the text of the Ridderhof editions into a new paperback, containing all 56 original illustrations by George Roux. This paperback edition of Het verbazingwekkende avontuur van de Barsac-Missie contains 331 pages, and is printed in black and white with a full-colour cover.
