Calendar based on Jules Verne’s Extraordinary Voyages (1956)

In December, 1955, the Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij and Shell, two oil companies, published a calendar for the year 1956, based on Jules Verne’s Extraordinary Voyages. Some of the original engravings were coloured for use in this calendar. The illustrations were accompanied by a modern illustration of a means of transportation.

The magazine Olie of January, 1956, featured an article about the calendar.
